ABOUT
I typically see clients over 18 years old who are looking for help with interpersonal issues, depression and anxiety or those seeking more meaning and motivation in their lives.
I take an integrative approach to counselling, which combines humanistic, Jungian and psychoanalytic ideas and techniques, and recognises the unique complexity and potential of each individual.
I have lived and worked in Hanoi since 2017, and since 2021 have been under the clinical supervision of Douglas Holwerda – a senior therapist, and founder Hanoi Psychology Group, as well as Dr Diego Busiol, a Lacanian psychoanalyst and lecturer in Hong Kong. As is common practice for therapists in the UK and elsewhere, I continue to meet for supervision each week, which includes professional oversight, accountability, support and insight.
I have a Master’s degree in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London with Distinction and a Master’s equivalence in Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Clinical Practice (MPPClinPrac) from the University of Exeter. In my ongoing professional development I am pursuing registration with the British Psychoanalytic Council through ongoing doctoral training with the British Psychotherapy Foundation.
